Kenn has 42 years of teaching experience in a variety of private conservatories and public schools. Kenn offers guitar instruction in many styles, with emphases on Fingerstyle, Jazz, Pop, Rock, Blues, Celtic and Music theory. Kenn also offers in-studio tutoring and production assistance for up-and-coming recording artists and writers.
Kenn custom designs a curriculum for each student according to their goals and interests. He encourages students to work with the recorded music of their choice.
Kenn holds a Bachelor of Science degree in K-12 Education from UW-Whitewater. He is scheduled at Anam Teaching Studio on Wednesday and Thursday from 1:00-7:00 pm
Kenn has released nine albums of modern Fingerstyle guitar music, six blues albums and four Singer-Songwriter albums with Mare Edstrom, two albums with the Midwest Guitar Trio, and two albums with the traditional Celtic band Kellswater Bridge. He has also been featured on seven compilation albums, and he has produced and engineered over 50 albums for other artists.
